Lynnette Simon Marshall joined Moore-Biser in 2019 after nearly 20 years of practice. Mrs. Marshall has extensive experience representing clients on both sides of civil litigation, having previously been a partner in a boutique insurance defense firm and the managing partner of a preeminent plaintiffs’ firm. Currently her primary practice areas include medical malpractice liability and premises liability defense where she handles all phases from case development to litigation defense although she has extensive experience in mass torts, workplace injury and product liability cases.

Lynnette received her Juris Doctor degree from the West Virginia University College of Law in 1999, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Political Science from West Virginia University in 1996. She has a demonstrated track record within the legal community, both prosecuting and defending complex and catastrophic injury cases throughout the course of her career. She was inducted into the National Trial Lawyer’s Top 25 Mass Tort Lawyers Association in 2017 and also named among “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” in 2017 by the National Trial Lawyers Association. She is a former member of the American Association for Justice and the West Virginia Association for Justice, where she served on the Board of Governors. She is a current member of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia. She is admitted to practice law in the courts of West Virginia, Ohio and Colorado, as well as in the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States.
